How each product contributes to improve health

In brief, this is how the herbal combinations contribute to supporting the body each in their own way that it is capable of rising even to a considerable detoxication challenge: The herbs in Vita help balance the inflammatory response, detoxify the blood and tissues, and increase the delivery of oxygen to the cells. They also support the respiratory system, lungs and airways, supporting good breathing. Neutralex strengthens the body’s antioxidant defence, whereby less damage is caused everywhere in the body. This allows the body to concentrate its healing resources on less damage furthering the healing process (toxins are normally highly reactive causing lots of damage in the body weakening it further and adding to the workload of the immune system). The herbs in Immunex support the immune system, including the spleen and lymphatic system. The herbs in Heartex strengthen the heart and help heal arterial injury, improve blood flow and keep blood vessels free from plaque. Liverex supports the liver and kidneys in their detoxifying and cleansing tasks and protects the liver against damage from toxins, including heavy metals. Additionally, already damaged liver cells will swiftly regenerate with the nutrient content of its herbal ingredients.

Infused with natural enzymes for improved working

The herbs in VitaZymes’ supplements range are infused with plant enzymes to inprove their effectiveness and working. The infusion means a large amount of the active ingredients of the herbs can be taken up directly from the stomach without first having to go through the digestive system – similar to the way alcohol is absorbed by the body. This is why you can take e.g. six Vita capsules and feel a beneficial effect within half an hour to an hour (they work better on an empty stomach).

Recommended use

Vita: two (2) to three (3) capsules twice daily; Neutralex: two (2) capsules twice daily; Immunex: two (2) to three (3) capsules twice daily; Heartex: two (2) capsules twice daily; Liverex: two (2) capsules twice daily. The five herbal supplements may be taken all together, preferably between meals, for example 20 to 30 minutes before breakfast and dinner (the second portion of the day should better not be taken at bedtime).You may want to begin by taking one capsule twice daily of each supplement increasing the dose gradually with two times one capsule every three to four days until the desired dose is reached.

The daily dose may be increased for a more powerful working and/or as required – e.g. due to high body weight or overall condition. If at times you feel things are moving too fast, you may reduce the dosage of the supplements temporarily (see below under ‘Detox reactions’).

The dose may be reduced to one or two capsules daily of each combination when the purpose of taking the herbal supplements principally is to maintain good health (see below under 'How long').

The capsules are small, smooth and easy to swallow. If, nevertheless, you find it difficult to swallow or if given to a child, it is easy to open the capsules by twisting the two halves apart and empty the content out e.g. on a piece of banana or a spoonful of yoghurt.

How long

We recommend continue taking this combination until you feel you have reached the level of health you aspire to achieve. You can simply test this by stopping taking the combination for a while and see what transpires. If your health deteriorates, you will know your body needs more support. ​Conversely, if you feel the same after a month or two, you ​​may consider you have probably met your aspiration.

To maintain the improvements to your health, you may want to continue with a maintenance dose, which would involve taking a capsule or two daily of each supplement. Alternatively, you could do an annual detox. We are continually exposed to pollutants (toxins) everywhere, mainly in the air but also in the water, food, and products we use on a daily basis including those for personal care, cleaning materials, medicines, etc. which put a considerable strain on our bodies.

Detox reactions

If the body has not been handling and eliminating toxins well for some time, and if the tissues and organs are congested with excess toxins, it is likely that some of these toxins will make themselves felt as the body starts to get rid of them. Some of the following symptoms may be experienced during a detox (the list is not exhastive):

· Fatigue (the body diverts energy to cleaning the body).

· Frequent urination, as the kidneys begin to work more effectively.

· Skin rashes (if toxins are pushed out through the skin).

· Constipation.

· Aches or pain.

If you feel things are moving too fast, you may reduce the dosage of the supplements temporarily. It is important to drink enough water to facilitate the elimination process and reduce detox reactions to a minimum. It is also a good idea to reduce your intake of junk foods and alcohol (best to avoid altogether). Allowing yourself enough sleep, while you are detoxing, is conducive to the detox.
